Here's Why . . .

An embedded recorder runs on firmware, not software and would be comparable to the computer in your car, not your desktop PC.

Granted, an embedded system has a faster boot up time and does not require rebooting, but this is a very small tradeoff for the overall advanced features and flexibility of a PC-Based system.

The biggest downside to an embedded system is that it has very limited upgrades. You cannot upgrade the hardware ... and firmware upgrades are relatively limited.

Also, you cannot service or upgrade an embedded system on site.

More importantly, lower-priced embedded DVRs do not record while you are reviewing your recording, which is a critical factor during peak periods.

PC-Based systems have none of these limitations

Custom Housings

We know from extensive experience that
cameras are very susceptible to theft or vandalism.

Many cameras labeled as Vandal Proof or Armoured are easily stolen if the perpetrator has a security screw driver or a crowbar.

We have designed our own steel housings and mounting strategies to further protect your cameras from theft and vandalism.
